- Marguerite Fahy Added 11/06/2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★My father has lived in Castleturvin Nursing Home for the past 2 years and it is a joy to visit the home and see how happy , secure and well cared for my father and all the patients are.
We never fail to be surprised by the kindness and genuine good humour of the staff, no matter when we call. There is a culture of cooperation and group spirit which permeates the whole ( multi cultural) staff'
A really wonderful aspect is the way things are celebrated birthdays, Christmas , Hallow Een with beautiful photographs everywhere in evidence.
Perhaps the thing which lifts my father most is the fact that my children and I can bring our dog in to visit to him. He loves dogs and on our recent visit a nurse brought my daughter downstairs to meet another man who also has a particular fondness for dogs.
This is the way a nursing home should be for everyone; my father says he's lucky and he is!
